{Sexy SpotLights} .....Jenny Taylor’s First Shot at Matchmaking, part 2

If you missed the Dating Game, I’ve got the firsthand downlow for you because I’ve got a special interview with one of our winning couples, Paul and Stephanie, for you to check out!

How did you get entered in the contest, and what was it like becoming a finalist?

Paul: (chuckling) I got entered ’cause my brother was actually in it. He got referred to it by one of our friends who’s friends with Jenny. I was a little surprised to win the voting round and was excited. People saw I was on there and asked about it, and I told ’em to go vote for me.

Stephanie: Well, I had heard about it through Jenny’s blog and decided to do it. It was really fun, and I had a good time doing it. Trying to get everyone to vote was challenging ’cause I had to walk them through it, so I wasn’t a finalist from the voting round. Jenny called and interviewed with me. . . . She was so friendly and funny. It was such a good time; I was so excited! It was a great opportunity.

What were your thoughts on the Dating Game?

Paul: It was fun. I liked the questions a lot. They were really good for first getting to know someone. I liked the two split rooms and the audience.

Stephanie: It was a lot of fun — it was really interesting ’cause with the questions that she asked, there was a point in time each of the bachelors sounded like he might be a right choice for me. It was a really great way to do it and the way it was all set up was so much fun.

Tell me a bit about the date. Where did you go and how did it go?

Paul: We went to Rosebud — really good Italian restaurant. The date was smooth and Stephanie was really nice and we got along great.

Stephanie: Yeah, we went to Rosebud and had a really good time. He was a really nice guy, really good. I think we both had a good time. It was really nice!

Sounds like you enjoyed it! So, any potential for a second date?

Paul: We had plenty to talk about. I made a good friend.

Stephanie: I don’t really know since we didn’t make one, but I definitely made a good friend.

It’s interesting you both felt the same way. But as I always say, you never know.

Stephanie: Yeah, you never know. But I think Paul was the best choice out of all three.

Paul: You just gotta go into these things to have fun. Not everyone you meet is going to be a soulmate. So just have a good time.

All right, Stephanie, any thoughts about your makeover?

Stephanie: Loved it. The hair and makeup artists were so funny. She taught me how to tease my hair (laughs). Jenny was so sweet and nice. I had a great time. I hope I get to see her again! This was like nothing I had ever experienced before.

Is this something you’d do again? Do you have any advice for future contestants of a similar contest?

Paul: Yes, I would do it again. It was fun. I’d recommend going into it with the expectation of a good time and potentially meeting someone you enjoy hanging out with rather than setting yourself up for disappointment. I mean, it’s dating, and that doesn’t always mean true love.

Stephanie: I would do it again. It was really fun, and I’d definitely nominate other single friends to experience something like this as far as taking a positive risk. It’s definitely something I’ll look back on positively.

Looks like Jenny’s first shot at matchmaking was certainly a step in the right direction! All the contestants I got to talk to had a great experience and came out of it with no regrets (and a bunch of awesome free stuff!). I know Jenny, Amber, and I had a fantastic time with the contest.

When it comes to love . . . if you’re ready for it, it’s great to take that chance! In matters of the heart, especially at the beginning, you truly never know. (Take it from me; I wasn’t initially interested in any of my own serious boyfriends, but things obviously changed. ;)) Anyway, it’s a fantastic way to meet new people!

As for my buddy Wiktor, who had such a great time cracking everyone up during the Dating Game, he sent a basket of flowers to the studio with the following message:

“Hi Jenny and Amber,
No matter what the outcome may be, your efforts to make the world a better place will never go unappreciated. Thanks for the great experience, and please stay in touch.”

That’s the spirit! Now, let’s turn the focus over to you. Do you want to get glammed up by Jenny’s energetic and talented staff? Get to meet and know someone who you might hit it off with?
