Dear Jenny,

     I just wanted to send you a note to thank you for an amazing experience. I had a few friends suggest that I do a boudoir photo shoot. When I started doing research I  realized there were a few things I did and didn't want.

     First, I wanted a photographer with a studio. No coming to my house or renting a hotel room. And I wanted an all female staff. So when I searched the Internet your company was on the top of the list. Not only that but you listed up front all the things I was looking for. I filled out the info section on the web site and I received an

email to set up a good time to talk. I believe it was Nikki who called me and within 2 minutes I knew I had called the right place. My package was chosen and my date set. I must admit the few weeks leading up to my shoot I was a bit nervous. I spent a lot of time trying to figure out what I was going to wear and I even stressed out about the whole thing. A few days before my shoot you called me and all the details were set.

     The morning of my shoot I decided whatever I had to wear would have to do and it was time to bite the bullet.  From the minute I arrived it was all about me! I forgot I was nervous almost right away. Dimitria (I hope I spelled right) did my hair and make-up and I was transformed. Truly I felt like a model. The minute the camera started shooting I was at ease. You are amazing and you made me feel like I was a queen! I felt beautiful and confident and sexy. When the shoot was finished I left feeling amazing. When you texted me that my sneak peak was going up I again was nervous. Was it going to be what I was expecting?  Well it wasn't. Just the one photo so far exceeded any and all of my expectations.

     When we met and we looked at all my other photos I was amazed. What amazing work. Your love for what you do shows through in all of your clients photos. Together we chose amazing photos and I now have the most Amazing book.

     I didn't tell anyone I was doing this as I wanted to solely do it for me. Call it my happy 44th birthday to Bernice.  I showed my husband first of course. I would love to tell you his reaction but I don't think I could do it justice.  He love me and thinks I'm beautiful and sexy but these pictures rendered him speechless. I have now shown

The photos to others and everyone has the same reaction. "Bernice,you look amazing."  I had someone ask me if I did this for my husband. I said,"No, I did it for myself, but I'm sharing them with my husband."  

     So I just want to say thanks once again for exceeding all of my expectations.  I look forward to working with you again in the future because everyone should feel like a Bombshell more then once in their lives.

     I just had my second boudoir shoot! Jenny and Megan (my hair stylist and make-up artist) are AMAZING!! Both times that I have gone they made me feel comfortable, beautiful, and sexy. Megan made me look like a bombshell model. Megan took the time to find out what I was wearing to make sure I had the perfect make-up and hair style for my outfits. After looking in the mirror, all I could say was wow!  Jenny is an amazing photographer, she knows the perfect angles to take pictures, no matter your size, you will be beautiful and amazed with your pictures :)

     I have been to two different studios, both have been extremely clean. She has her own studios, you are not in some creepy basement. She always has new items coming to make sure her studios are up to date and modern. You don't have to worry about someone seeing you from the outside, she keeps it very private. She shoots one person at time, that way no one will see you on the inside either. She also has an all female staff to make you feel comfortable.

     Jenny has gone above and beyond to answer all of my questions. She does her best to contact you back as soon as possible. Jenny and Megan are both very friendly and keep conversations going to keep you from getting nervous. The fun music playing helps :)

     Every woman deserves to do this at least once in their life. Trust me, you will feel incredible during the shoot and have AMAZING PICTURES to prove it!!! I can't wait to do my next one ;) THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR MAKING ME FEEL LIKE A BOMBSHELL!!! And for helping me have a reason to reach my goal!!

I don't really know where to begin...I would say I'm a confident person.  I'm successful in my career, I have a wonderful husband, family and friends, and have many things in life some others would probably want for themselves.  What some don't know about me is that I am a very private person, with sometimes little to no confidence, especially when it comes to my self image.  Sad to say, I know...but it's true.

When I came across your Facebook page, I was in awe.  The photos are BEAUTIFUL!  Every single customer you have photographed looks like a model of their own.  So it got me thinking...I CAN do this for myself and my husband. It will be something that takes me completely out of my comfort zone, but also something I need to do for me to help that self image "fuss" I pile on my shoulders. So...I took a deep breath, filled out the inquiry form on your website, and scheduled a session after we spoke!  "Holy crap, I just signed myself up for what??!?" ran through my head after I got off the phone with you!  :)  I took another deep breath and said, "Girl...you can do this...there's a reason for it!"

So a few weeks later, my Saturday morning session was here...I prepared exactly like you had instructed me for a smooth sailing experience...and in no other terms, it was perfect!  From the greeting at the door from, to the fun time I had chatting with Nikki in the makeup chair, to the scene changes and poses you guided me through.  Everything was geared towards me...my comfort level, and your expertise on what you knew would turn out amazing.  And they did!  So much so...I upgraded by book purchased for my hubby to include more of my favorite shots!

So Jenny and Nikki, thank you for that extra boost of confidence I can add to my "self resume"...I took a chance and did something I never thought I would or could do...and I truly felt beautiful.  (In addition to my wedding day of course.)  :)

P.S.  I couldn't hold onto my book for my special occasion gift for my husband...I gave it to him about 10 minutes after I returned home from picking it up!  He loved it, and was so surprised! :)

     Soon to be turning 39 and going through a divorce, I decided to do something just for myself and “brave” the experience of my first boudoir photography shoot; on the recommendation of a friend, I booked a session with Jenny Taylor Boudoir Photography. 

     From the moment I walked in to Jenny Taylor’s studio in Naperville, I felt at ease, like “one of the girls” – not an outsider, or out of place, at all. It was very much akin to hanging out with friends at a slumber party as a kid, but on a much grander scale – getting my makeup done, listening to great music, chatting about life. Leila did a fantastic job with my makeup and was SO fun to spend time with while getting all glamorous! 

     Jenny Taylor, herself, was my photographer, and she is fantastic at what she does.  She knows how to set up beautiful shots, and I felt extremely comfortable working with her. I didn’t have to force a smile during my shoot; Jenny knew how to make me laugh, and the experience was so great that smiling came naturally. I thought I’d feel slightly mortified walking around in nothing but my lingerie in front of a virtual stranger, but somehow Jenny wasn’t a stranger, and I never have felt more comfortable in my own skin. The experience was empowering and liberating, allowing me to love myself fully again, and it is something I truly believe every woman should experience at least once in her lifetime.

     I am getting married in May, 2013 and, as a wedding present for my fiance, I wanted to do a few sexy boudoir photos. I asked my wedding photographer if she has ever shot any photos like this and she told me no, but referred me to Jenny Taylor Boudoir Photography. I've seen pictures on facebook of her work, so I knew I had to call. I called her right away, left a message and within 24 hours Jenny had called me back. I was instantly hooked on what she had to say and booked an appointment that night.

It was fun choosing three different outfits for the shoot and when I was stumped I just texted Jenny. It was THAT easy! She immediately replied with advise.

The day of, I was more excited than nervous. I had read previous reviews which said that they were nervous until they walked in the door where their nerves all went away. I took that all in and wasn't nervous at all! Really, there's no reason to be! Jenny and her team are super friendly and so helpful every step of the way.

I was greeted at the door by one of Jenny's team members and taken immediately to get all dolled up. That was fun! She played music, we chatted..I loved it! When I saw myself in the mirror for the first time, I was in AWE! Couldn't believe that was me!

The next step was to bring me to Jenny to start my photo shoot. I never did anything like this before so I had no idea how to pose, smile, etc. Jenny helps you every step of the way! It was so much fun and went by super fast. The best part was that it was just you and your photographer. No other team members walking around or watching. That made me feel the most comfortable knowing that it was just me and her. I saw a sneak peak on facebook and can't wait to see the rest of my gorgeous pictures tomorrow!! I would recommend Jenny Taylor to anyone interested in giving her fiance a surprise wedding gift he can keep forever, or if you want to just do it for fun!
